D’Emilia Law Represents NYC High School Principal Charged with Sexual Abuse

by | Nov 26, 2025

D’Emilia Law is representing a long-time Queens high school principal charged with forcible touching and five counts of sexual abuse in the third degree. The allegations were brought by two assistant principals at the school, both of whom also maintain a friendship outside their employment. Our client unequivocally denies the baseless and vindictive criminal allegations, which he asserts were manufactured by two disgruntled employees.

Our client turned himself in to law enforcement in May upon learning about the allegations against him, and was subsequently arrested. He has been placed on leave by the Department of Education pending the outcome of his case. Our client “. . . maintains his innocence and is fully cooperating with any and all investigations to ensure the truth is brought to light,” firm partner and former prosecutor, Kendra Monte, told the New York Post in a statement.

“[Our client] has dedicated his 45-year career in education, 31 years of which as principal, to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational environment,” Monte said to the New York Post. “He is a tireless public servant and family man, married to his high school sweetheart.”

In addition to the criminal charges, our client now faces a federal lawsuit brought by the employees in connection with claims of sexual harassment and retaliation.

We are confident that upon a review of the allegations and evidence, the District Attorney will fully exonerate our client of the criminal charges brought against him.
